1 Respect for Intellectual Property
ChetsApp UG respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users of the EventMann platform to do the same. We are committed to responding promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement and other intellectual property violations.
Event organizers are solely responsible for ensuring that all content they upload to EventMann — including event descriptions, images, logos, videos, and marketing materials — does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. This includes copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and rights of publicity.
Attendees, vendors, sponsors, and all other users are likewise expected to respect intellectual property rights in all content they post, share, or distribute through the platform, including profile information, messages, and reviews.
If you are unsure whether your use of third-party content constitutes infringement, we recommend seeking legal advice before uploading it to EventMann. Using content without proper authorization — even if widely available on the internet — may constitute infringement.
2 Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on EventMann infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright infringement notice. To be effective, your notice must include the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material: The specific URL(s) or description of where the allegedly infringing material appears on EventMann, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
Please submit your copyright infringement notice by contacting us. We aim to review and respond to valid notices within 5 business days.
Important: Filing a false or misleading copyright notice may result in liability. If you are unsure whether content infringes your copyright, consider consulting an attorney before submitting a notice.
3 Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that content you posted on EventMann was removed or disabled as a result of a copyright infringement notice filed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material: A description of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- Statement of good faith: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Munich (München), Germany, and that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original infringement notice.
- Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original infringement notice. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we will restore the removed content.
Please submit counter-notices by contacting us.
4 Repeat Infringers
ChetsApp UG maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. Our repeat infringer policy works as follows:
- First offense: The infringing content is removed and the user receives a formal warning with an explanation of the violation.
- Second offense: The infringing content is removed and the user receives a final warning. Additional restrictions may be placed on the user's ability to upload content.
- Third offense: The user's account is permanently terminated. For organizer accounts, this includes suspension of all active events and forfeiture of any pending platform-related benefits.
We track infringement notices on a rolling 12-month basis. Valid counter-notices that are not challenged by the original complainant will result in the corresponding strike being removed from the user's record.
In cases of particularly egregious infringement — such as large-scale copying of event content, systematic use of stolen images, or willful and repeated violations — we reserve the right to terminate an account after the first offense without additional warnings.
5 Trademark Usage
"EventMann" and the EventMann logo are trademarks of ChetsApp UG. The following rules apply to the use of our trademarks:
- Permitted use: You may use the EventMann name to truthfully describe your relationship with the platform (e.g., "Tickets available on EventMann" or "Powered by EventMann"). Such use must not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation beyond the actual relationship.
- Prohibited use: You may not use the EventMann name, logo, or other branding in a way that suggests ChetsApp UG endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with your event, product, or service, unless you have received explicit written authorization.
- Logo guidelines: If you wish to use the EventMann logo on your website, promotional materials, or event signage, please contact us to request our brand guidelines and obtain permission.
Similarly, event organizers' trademarks, logos, and brand names remain their own property. EventMann's display of organizer branding on event pages is solely for the purpose of operating the platform and does not constitute a claim of ownership or affiliation.
If you believe that a user is misusing your trademark on EventMann, please contact us with details of the alleged misuse and proof of your trademark ownership.
