How to Get a Refund
Refund eligibility depends on the refund policy set by each event organizer. This guide explains how to check the policy, request a refund, and what to expect throughout the process.
Check the Refund Policy Before Buying
Every event displays its refund policy on the event detail page. Look for the "Refund Policy" section below the ticket selection area. Always review this before purchasing so you know your options.
Refund Policy Types
Organizers choose one of the following refund policies for their events:
- No Refunds — tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances. The "Request Refund" button will not be available.
- 24-Hour Refund — you can request a full refund within 24 hours of your purchase.
- 48-Hour Refund — you can request a full refund within 48 hours of your purchase.
- 7-Day Refund — you can request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase.
- Full Refund Anytime — you can request a refund at any time before the event starts.
How to Request a Refund
- Go to your Dashboard and click "My Tickets" in the sidebar.
- Find the booking you want to refund and click on it to open the booking details.
- Click "Request Refund" — this button appears only if the refund policy allows it and you are within the refund window.
- Confirm your request — review the refund amount and click "Submit Refund Request".
- Wait for processing — you will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
Event Cancelled by Organizer
If an organizer cancels their event, all confirmed bookings receive an automatic full refund. You do not need to take any action — the refund is processed immediately and you will be notified by email.
Event Postponed
If an event is postponed (rescheduled to a new date), the organizer decides whether to offer refunds. Your existing tickets typically remain valid for the new date. Check the event page or your email for updates from the organizer.
How Long Does the Refund Take?
Refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to the original payment method (credit/debit card). Expect the refund to appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Important: Service fees may not be refundable depending on the event and platform policy. The refund confirmation will show the exact amount being returned to your card.
Refund Button Not Available?
If you do not see the "Request Refund" button on your booking, it may be because:
- The event has a "No Refunds" policy.
- The refund window has expired (e.g. more than 24 hours since purchase for a 24-hour policy).
- The event has already started or completed.
