Signing Contracts
Contracts formalise the agreement between you and an event organiser. They outline the scope of services, payment terms, deadlines, and cancellation policies. EventMann's digital contract system makes it easy to review, sign, and store contracts securely — all without paper or printing.
Here's how to handle contracts on the platform:
- Receive a contract — when an organiser finalises terms with you, they'll generate a contract through the platform. You'll receive an email notification and a dashboard alert.
- Review the terms — open the contract from Contracts in your sidebar. Read through the scope of work, deliverables, payment schedule, and any special conditions carefully.
- Ask questions — if anything is unclear, use the messaging system to contact the organiser before signing. It's better to clarify terms upfront than to dispute them later.
- Sign digitally — click "Sign Contract" to apply your digital signature. You'll be asked to confirm your identity and agree to the terms.
- Download a copy — after both parties have signed, download the fully executed contract as a PDF for your records.
Important: Once signed, contracts are legally binding. Make sure you have read and understood all terms before applying your digital signature. If you need to amend terms after signing, both parties must agree to a contract amendment.
